Senior Accountant Job Description

Marsman India Cranes Private Limited is a renowned manufacturer and exporter of crushing equipment & heavy alloy steel castings . The company is based in India since 1986 and known for its trusted brands 'Kamal', 'Shaktiman', and 'SMAN'. SMAN products are highly reputed for their performance, productivity, and cost-efficiency in the mining and construction fields.

This role involves managing financial statements, reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. It includes supervising accounting staff, conducting audits, preparing budgets, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decisions. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will handle tax filings and work closely with other departments to streamline financial processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • ERP knowledge is essential
  • Proficiency in managing financial statements, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Experience in supervising accounting staff and conducting audits
  • Skills in preparing budgets and analyzing financial data
  • Knowledge of tax filings and regulatory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
  • Experience in the mining or construction industry is beneficial
