Embedded Software Developer Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software systems using C programming language.
  • Develop device drivers and work with various communication protocols such as CAN/Flexray, UDS/KWP, SPI.
  • Analyze and debug complex problems using strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Work with AUTOSAR/HIS standards, ISO14229, ISO TP Layers.
  • Utilize tools like CANalyser/CANoe, INCA/CANape, CANDiva, CANstress, CANDELA studio, Lauterbach.
  • Manage requirements using DOORS and work with configuration management tools like Clearcase/SVN/VSS.
  • Work with change management tools like ClearQuest and code generation tools like Vector Geny/Mentor Graphics.
  • Awareness of file formats like a2l, Make, odx, cdd, hex/s-record.
  • Work with scripting languages like CAPL, Make, Python, Perl.
  • Knowledge/experience with quality process & safety-standards such as ASPICE/CMMI, ISO 26262.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong development experience in embedded C and Device Drivers.
  • Experience with CAN/Flexray, UDS/KWP, SPI communication protocols.
  • Strong debugging analytical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR/HIS standards, ISO14229, ISO TP Layers.
  • Knowledge of tools like CANalyser/CANoe, INCA/CANape, CANDiva, CANstress, CANDELA studio, Lauterbach.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools - DOORS.
  • Knowledge of UML based tools like Enterprise Architect/starUML.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Clearcase/SVN/VSS.
  • Knowledge of change management tools like ClearQuest.
  • Knowledge of code generation tools like Vector Geny/Mentor Graphics.
  • Awareness of file formats like a2l, Make, odx, cdd, hex/s-record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications like IREB and TOGAF.
