Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As an embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing software for automotive systems using C programming language
  • Working with microcontrollers and implementing data acquisition using ADC and controlling external devices like motors and peripherals
  • Implementing communication protocols such as CAN, FlexRay, SPI, UART, and I2C
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions
  • Ensuring software quality and safety standards are met through adherence to ASPICE/CMMI and ISO 26262 guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong development experience in embedded C for automotive domain (preferably in Steering/Power train/Brakes/Transmission domain)
  • Experience with AUTOSAR / BSW Development, standards such as ISO14229, ISO TP
  • Knowledge in requirements management tools - DOORS
  • Knowledge in UML based tools like Enterprise Architect/starUML is preferred
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Clear case/SVN/VSS
  • Experience with change management tools like Clear Quest
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good experience in embedded design and development projects
  • Good experience in vehicle diagnostics development, failure handling & monitoring
  • Good knowledge of C programming
  • Experience with working on 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers for data acquisition using ADC and controlling external devices like motors and other peripheral devices
  • Good knowledge or experience with one of the following protocols: CAN, FlexRay, SPI, UART, I2C
