Electrical Project Manager for Large-Scale Data Center Project

  • We are seeking an experienced electrical project manager to oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems for a large-scale data center project.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical design and engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions.
  • Oversee planning, design, and implementation of power distribution systems, including medium- and low-voltage equipment.
  • Manage backup power systems, including UPS and generators.
  • Coordinate with utility companies for power requirements and connections.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction and commissioning.
  • Presentation of project status and technical details to clients is required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's Preferred.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License Required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in data center projects.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale electrical projects.
  • Deep knowledge of data center power systems, including redundancy configurations.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainable design principles.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
