Job Description

As a risk management professional, you will be responsible for supporting senior stakeholders across the bank in identifying and assessing material risks. Your key responsibilities will include driving forward the development and delivery of remedial action plans where identified risks are considered out of appetite.

You will also support a culture of proactive and pre-emptive risk management and continuous improvement, with a focus on attaining operational risk objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in applying risk and control management in an operational and strategic context
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment and scenario analysis methodologies, including GDPR and SOX
  • Ability to design and implement control frameworks and test controls, with experience in coordinating with internal and external auditors
  • Knowledge of data management, data governance, metadata, and data cleansing and validation tools
  • Background in financial services, particularly in the UK banking domain, with exposure to fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, and financial crime
