Job Title: Operational Risk Specialist
About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. As an Operational Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the lifecycle support of institutional trade flow, managing client accounts, and collaborating with internal and industry-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct process risk reviews and socialize teams to maintain a collaborative environment.
- Identify key risks, controls, and indicators, and continuously monitor processes.
- Work closely with EMEA business partners to deliver responsibilities such as control testing, incident reporting, and risk reviews.
- Support work streams related to Process Review and Enhancement (PRE), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and weekly production of WFS Operations metrics.
- 4+ years of experience in Institutional Investment Operations, preferably in Capital Markets operations/middle office operations.
- Excellent understanding of functional expertise, including brokerage, broker-dealer services, FX, equity, fixed income, and settlements.
- Moderate experience in operational risk, specifically identifying and assessing key risks, controls, and indicators.
- English language proficiency and ability to work nights.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of Capital Markets and product taxonomies within business segments.
- Familiarity with risk function deliverables, such as key risks & controls, and their testing.
- Knowledge of MIS importance and role.
- Familiarity with systems such as GMI, Intellimatch, Imagine, Broadridge, and Calypso.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
