Operational Risk Specialist

The role involves working with a large cross-functional team and associated partners to implement group risk policies, improve processes, and instill a culture of risk awareness.
This position will assess and report against the current state of operational real-estate used in the management of data content. You will analyse service incidents, outages, process failures, and other risk events to build control mechanisms.
You will prepare annual resiliency business case submissions and work with partner organisations to ensure action plans are in motion.
This is an opportunity to evolve the maturity of Financial Content Operations Risk policy adoption in preparation for future regulatory requirements while meeting wider Risk policy obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement Group Operating Policies with Risk Champions, LOs, Content Operations, and Managers
- Prepare resiliency business case submissions and work with partner organisations
- Analyse service incidents, outages, process failures, and other risk events
- Report on the status of maturity on the Risk curve through activities such as control assurance definition and testing
- Critical thinking skills to assess implications of risks on Financial Content Operations
- Strong understanding of datasets inside FCO
- Presentation skills to engage all partner groups
- SQL, Python, PowerBI skills desirable
- Passion and understanding of what Risk means for an operational organisation
- Skills for influencing others and building strong partnerships
- Knowledge of risk and controls processes
