IT Infrastructure Manager Job Summary

The ideal candidate will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This position requires defining and executing infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals and scalability needs, as well as managing hybrid environments, implementing security best practices, and leading a team of infrastructure engineers.

  • Infrastructure Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute infrastructure strategies to meet business objectives and scalability requirements.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage hybrid environments, optimize costs, and ensure seamless cloud migrations.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain infrastructure security best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support infrastructure engineers; assign tasks, monitor performance, and foster growth.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor systems and networks, resolve incidents efficiently, and minimize downtime.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure budgets; recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed system/process documentation and prepare reports on infrastructure health and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or equivalent roles.
  • Proven expertise in network, systems, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
