Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in designing electrical systems for manufacturing plants and R&D centers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) systems, as well as experience working with AutoCAD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with customers and internal teams, preparing drawings for statutory approvals, and sizing electrical equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting load calculations for electrical systems to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Preparing concept designs and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Designing powerhouses and distribution systems from HT incoming to lowest level distribution
  • Selecting light fittings and accessories that meet industry standards
  • Designing lighting systems that meet lux levels and prepare lighting layouts
  • Coordinating with HVAC, Piping, Civil, and Clean Room Panel teams during the design stage
  • Fulfilling specifications for electrical equipment
  • Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents for complete electrical installation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience working with electrical design software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated personality with growth aspirations
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but not required
  • BMS and EMS design knowledge is desirable
