Essbase Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Essbase consultant to join our team of experts in delivering comprehensive financial planning and budgeting solutions.

As an Essbase consultant, you will work closely with clients to streamline their financial processes, optimize decision-making, and unlock new opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale Hyperion Planning 11.2 implementations, possess hands-on expertise in application development and maintenance, and demonstrate strong knowledge of Financial Reporting (FR), Smart View, web forms and reports, MDX/MXL, and Unix shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver key project artifacts including requirements documents, design documents, test plans, training materials, and solution designs
  • Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Gain experience in financial system integrations
  • Develop effective communication and collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Support mission-critical Hyperion and Essbase implementations with Fortune 500 clients
  • Stay updated with cutting-edge EPM solutions and advanced reporting tools

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in large-scale Hyperion Planning 11.2 implementations
  • Hands-on expertise in application development and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting (FR), Smart View, web forms and reports, MDX/MXL, and Unix shell scripting
  • Proficiency in working with both Windows and Unix/Linux platforms
  • Acknowledge familiarity with Relational Databases (RDBMS)
  • In-depth functional and technical knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
