Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to spearhead the development of business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in data analysis, stakeholder management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
  • Translate high-level business needs into clear, structured requirements for Power BI dashboard development and data solutions.
  • Apply a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, such as star schema and ETL processes, to ensure robust data solutions.
  • Utilize familiarity with Power BI, especially its semantic models and DAX, to guide development and interpretation.
  • Read and interpret complex data models and SQL queries, contributing to data understanding and validation.
  • Write comprehensive functional specifications for BI dashboards, ensuring they align with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, specifically within a data or BI context.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to translate high-level business needs into structured requirements.
  • Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and process mapping.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, particularly Power BI Service and its semantic layer, and DAX.
  • Ability to read and interpret data models and SQL queries.
