Packaging Development Overview

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Development Executive to join our team at Seven-Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the packaging development team in selecting appropriate primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials as per brand requirements.

  • Selecting packaging materials based on brand requirements and market trends.
  • Developing new vendors and conducting quality control audits to ensure high-quality packaging materials.
  • Creating media files such as KLDs, 3-D mock-ups, and pack shots for projects.
  • Handling artwork activities from design to manufacturing and taking full ownership of the process.
  • Investigating market complaints and internal issues related to packaging material defects.
  • Generating ideas to reduce packaging material costs and wastage.
  • Maintaining and improving existing packaging processes for efficiency.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive speed, manage cost, and ensure quality.
  • Managing inventory and procuring packaging materials.
  • Developing quality control processes to monitor incoming packaging material quality.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in inventory management and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Packaging Development Professional, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for packaging materials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to select suitable packaging materials that meet brand requirements and industry trends.

You will also be responsible for managing inventory and procuring packaging materials, as well as developing quality control processes to monitor incoming packaging material quality.
