Senior Data Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Senior Data Scientist to drive strategic business decisions through data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to solve complex business challenges, leveraging expertise in statistical analysis and research methodologies.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and experimentation to innovate and improve data science strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, extracting actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization to support strategic initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Publish internal technical reports and contribute to research papers/patents, sharing knowledge and expertise with the industry.
  • Stay updated with the latest research trends in AI/ML, deep learning, NLP, and data analytics, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance and thought leadership within the team to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to real-world problems, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar languages, with proficiency in libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data platforms, ensuring efficient data management and analysis.
  • Strong background in mathematics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization, with the ability to apply these concepts to complex business challenges.
  • Experience with research publication or contribution to open-source projects is highly valued, demonstrating a commitment to sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, ensuring flexibility and scalability in data management and analysis.
  • Exposure to natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning, with a willingness to explore new areas and technologies.
  • Strong domain expertise in relevant industries, with a deep understanding of the business context and challenges.
  • Track record of academic publications or patents in AI/ML/Data Science, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and knowledge-sharing.
