Job Title: Financial Researcher

A highly skilled Financial Researcher is required to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating comprehensive models, and providing well-reasoned valuations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and update detailed financial models with scenario analysis.
  • Apply various valuation methods, including DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant approaches.
  • Establish accurate assumptions and provide well-reasoned valuations.
  • Screen large datasets to identify investment opportunities and support portfolio managers in their decision-making process.
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with portfolio managers.
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and management meetings.
  • Create pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic notes.
  • Design and maintain databases.
  • Collect and analyze news articles.
  • Respond to ad hoc research requests.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation-making skills.
  • Ability to think critically and understand drivers and key performance indicators across diverse sectors.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple workflows with tight deadlines.
  • Numerical skills.
  • Capacity to build complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions.
  • Experience with earnings sensitivity analysis.
  • Capability to provide personal valuation views after conducting relative, DCF-based, or industry-specific valuations.
  • Effective writing skills.
  • Ability to write clearly and logically, minimizing rework.
  • Capacity to create bulletins and one-page summaries.
  • Link macro/industry analysis to output.
  • Develop compelling presentations.
  • Other relevant skills include collecting news, summarizing, providing analysis, and preparing charts, tables, and databases.
  • Advantageous if the candidate has experience using technologies like Python, SQL, Power BI, etc.
