Senior Placement Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Placement Strategist to drive our student placement initiatives across South India.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong network of employers across various industries and be able to deliver on placement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with employers in the beauty, wellness, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and allied sectors.
  • Organize and manage campus placement drives, job fairs, and employer engagement sessions to maximize student employability.
  • Collaborate with Centre Heads and trainers to ensure alignment between student skills and market requirements.
  • Provide guidance to students on resume preparation, interview readiness, and workplace etiquette to enhance their chances of securing placements.
  • Maintain accurate employer databases, track placement outcomes, and publish regular management information system reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Pursue cross-sector placement opportunities to expand student employability beyond traditional boundaries.
  • Evaluate and improve retention and feedback mechanisms to optimize employer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or MBA with 4-8 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or human resources.
  • A strong industry network in South India is essential.
  • Candidates from HR/recruitment consulting or placement aggregator backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are crucial for success.
  • Proven ability to meet placement commitments and drive results-oriented performance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/MIS reporting is necessary.
