Job Title: Junior QA Tester

At Formee Holdings, we seek an exceptional individual to join our team as a Junior QA Tester. The role involves assessing software quality through manual and automated testing, identifying bugs and glitches, and ensuring our products, applications, and systems function seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure thorough testing of web and mobile applications (both functional and UI/UX testing).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of web application architecture and extensive experience in testing web applications.
  • Perform device testing on multiple browsers and various devices (make, model, operating system, screen size, etc.).
  • Conduct extensive UI testing.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing test documentation.
  • Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.
  • Identify and understand key features and their underlying functionality, isolate and report defects, and verify fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience as a QA Tester, Software Tester, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing.
  • UI testing experience is mandatory.
  • Basic experience in Playwright with TypeScript (preferred) or any other automation framework is a plus.
  • Proficient in using browser plugins/developer tools for web application testing (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SCSS).
  • Familiarity with project tracking tool - JIRA is mandatory.
  • Experience in Confluence is a plus.
  • Experience with Figma is preferred.
  • Experience with Postman is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, resourceful, and a strong team player with good time-management skills.
