Neural Foundry, a pioneering AI Robotics start-up based in the UK and India, is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing expertise and be able to contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions.

Job Overview

This is a permanent role with an estimated salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, based in Hyderabad. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Test Plans: Design and implement comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct thorough manual and automated tests to identify and document defects.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve software design, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions.
  • Test Outcome Analysis: Analyze test outcomes, document results, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Continuously update your knowledge of new testing tools and strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on testing and quality assurance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent analytical abilities.

Desired Skills:

  • IoT Experience: Experience working with IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
  • Embedded Systems Knowledge: Strong knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, and wireless communication protocols.
  • ROS2 Expertise: Experience with ROS2 (Robot Operating System) for robotics and automation.
  • Linux Proficiency: Proficient in Linux operating system, including development and debugging on Linux platforms.
