Technical Specialist for Software Implementation

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless implementation and utilization of our software solutions. Your expertise in technical support and product management will be instrumental in guiding customers through the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Provide expert assistance to customers, resolving issues related to software installation, runtime, licensing, and antivirus to minimize downtime.
  • Product Ownership: Define and drive the long-term vision for IT-facing components of our software, proposing and prioritizing feature improvements to meet customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to align IT-facing product features with overall business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee concurrent development projects, participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to deliver timely feature updates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in technical support, product management, or IT-related roles, preferably in the software or engineering industry.
  • Skills: Familiarity with software installation, licensing management tools, and troubleshooting complex issues; knowledge of various operating systems (especially Linux, but also Windows) and understanding of software installation and configuration processes across platforms; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Additional Qualifications: Experience working with CAE software (e.g., GT-SUITE, ANSYS, Amesim); understanding of cloud technologies and virtualization (e.g., AWS, VMware, Docker); experience with Agile development methods and associated software.
