Senior Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Manager to lead our service delivery efforts. This role will play a key part in shaping the future of our organization and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Led and managed a virtual team of service delivery specialists to ensure successful governance and performance of corporate IT service delivery.
  • Maintained a holistic view across regions and service divisions to guarantee full objectivity and impartiality while maintaining strategic direction for corporate IT.
  • Ensured implementation and adherence to standardized governance models across regions and service divisions.
  • Developed and maintained digital real-time reporting capabilities to provide deep analytical insights on operations to drive improvements.
  • Worked closely with delivery operations and service management teams to deliver operational reports, analyze trends, exceptions, and insights.
  • Drove optimization and reduced costs through digitalization, standardization, optimization, and centralization to meet targets.
  • Drove and assisted regions and service divisions to simplify, consolidate, modernize, and/or retire regional tier 2/3 platforms in line with digital blueprints.
  • Guaranteed effective information flow into regions, service divisions, and end-users from our parts of the digital office.
  • Established excellent working relationships with internal business stakeholders.

  • Extended understanding of business strategy and ability to align service delivery efforts with organizational goals is vital.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to make informed decisions, track service delivery performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with executives, department heads, and other stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for service delivery transformation efforts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the IT industry environment and business needs.
  • Broad business awareness and solid analytical skills.
  • Financial management and commercial skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with questioning skills.
  • Assertive approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise and ability to facilitate business conversations.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
  • Client relationship building and engagement skills.
  • Able to persuade, negotiate, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Project management skills.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
  • ITIL Foundation V4 or higher preferred.
  • SIAM Service Integration and Management Foundation beneficial.
  • Project Management certification beneficial.
  • Required experience:
    • Demonstrated experience in similar role preferably gained within global IT services organization.
    • Demonstrated experience in IT service delivery management for large multinational.
    • Demonstrated experience leading and managing team of service delivery specialists.
    • Demonstrated continuous service improvement experience.
    • Demonstrated client satisfaction experience essential.
    • Demonstrated experience in Resource Coordination beneficial.
