Automotive Software Engineer

Join a team of skilled engineers in the automotive software development sector. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of innovation and technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, electronics, or mechatronics, with a focus on software development for automotive systems. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in automation using Python, MATLAB, or C-coding is required. The ability to design and implement unit and integration tests using frameworks like pytest or unit test is also essential.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with high analytical and conceptual skills. Good communication and presentation skills are also necessary. The primary language used in this project is English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain Python scripts and automation tools.
  • Use state-of-the-art AI tools to develop solutions meeting quality, performance, and functionality requirements.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code with proper architecture, documentation, and robust error handling.
  • Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like pytest or unit test.
  • Optimize existing scripts for performance, maintainability, and readability.
  • Follow and enforce consistent coding standards and modern Python practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Engineering Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Strong background on automotive SW development tools (Simulink, Jira, Targetlink, Canape, ECUTest).
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in designing GUI using Python or MATLAB to optimize workflow.
  • High analytical and conceptual skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good presentation and English language skills.
