Closures Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Closures Design Engineer to join our team at Hinduja Tech Limited.

As a Closures Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing closures for various automotive applications. This is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise in closure design and development.

  • Design and develop closures for automobiles, including front doors, rear doors, tailgates, engine hoods, and fender systems.
  • Work with sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and plastics parts to create efficient and effective closure designs.
  • Develop and execute complete projects involving closure systems.
  • Utilize CATIA and PLM software like Teamcenter to streamline design and development processes.
  • Maintain sound knowledge of engineering documents such as DFMEA, DVP, DFA, and system documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in automotive sheet metal parts manufacturing and assembly processes.
Requirements:
  • B.E (Mechanical / Automobile) degree with 4-6 years of experience.
  • At least one complete project execution of closure system.
  • Proficient in CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents.
  • Good technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations of concepts and master sections.
  • Tolerance stack up and GD&T skills are an added advantage.
  • Experience in part development and supplier interaction is also advantageous.
