We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll cycles, as well as ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll software and systems, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
- Process new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll status.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to government agencies as required.
- Maintain and update payroll documentation and policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to payroll.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
