Global Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll processing for employees across the globe.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization in the venture capital and private equity sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing, as well as compliance with local tax laws, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
They will collaborate with HR and Finance teams to align payroll processes with company policies.
A strong understanding of payroll systems and statutory compliance requirements is essential for this role.
Experience in handling payroll within financial services, particularly venture capital or private equity, is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in using payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across the globe
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor laws, and statutory requirements
- Oversee payroll audits and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to align payroll processes with company policies
- Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring system integrity and data accuracy
- Prepare and present payroll reports to senior management and other stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries and provide resolution promptly
- Identify and implement process improvements in payroll operations
