ERP System Administrator Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Oracle Cloud ERP system.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud ERP, and a strong understanding of its modules and functionalities.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with five or more years of experience in development, enhancements, or support of ERP systems.
  • Three or more years of experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is also necessary, as well as one or more years of experience in development/customization using SQL, PL/SQL, and BIP Report.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering the day-to-day functions of the Oracle Cloud ERP system, including designing new and modifying existing modules/components based on requirements.
  • Providing Level IV support for Oracle Cloud ERP system issues and questions, as well as providing Level IV support for specific applications, as needed.
  • Coaching Application Support team members on best practices and steps for developing sound support and coding decisions.
  • Devising strategic solutions to resolve issues while keeping the system operational.
  • Participating in weekly support meetings with hosting providers and design meetings as appropriate.
  • Serving as the Secondary Support person for after-hours support, as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience with development/enhancements or support of Oracle Cloud ERP or similar ERP modules.
  • Three or more years of experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • One or more years of experience in development/customization using SQL, PL/SQL, and BIP Report.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Prior experience working with BI Publisher and FBDI.
  • Prior experience working with integration technologies using SOA, REST, and SOAP.
  • Prior experience in working with database using SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Intermediate level understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP FSCM modules.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification.

  • Capacity to communicate and interact with all levels of employees and management.
