Job Title: Senior Contract Negotiator

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law and be able to negotiate agreements that benefit the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and customers across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU.
  • Provide legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms.
  • Review and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with global regulatory developments, particularly in data privacy.
  • Draft and maintain standard contract templates to streamline the contracting process.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A law degree with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry.
  • Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation.
  • Familiarity with SaaS contracts is an added advantage.
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is also beneficial.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A five-day office presence is mandatory for this position.
