
Chief Software Negotiator

CloudEagle is seeking a dynamic SaaS procurement professional to excel in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong background in SaaS negotiations and a customer-centric approach.
This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and their vendors, playing a crucial role in negotiating order forms, subscription agreements, and contracts.
- Negotiate savings for all software products, SaaS, Cloud, and Digital products.
- Leverage CloudEagle's platform to understand and fulfill customers' Software and SaaS requirements.
- Assist customers in building and maintaining a central repository for all SaaS contracts and creating a renewal calendar to avoid missing upcoming renewals.
- Negotiate complex Software and SaaS contracts including financial, contractual, and commercial terms.
- Help clients manage and govern their SaaS products optimally using CloudEagle's platform.
- Develop procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and drive cost savings.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, evaluate product offerings, and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Manage a portfolio of projects, contracts, and customers to deliver business value and mitigate contractual risk.
We are looking for a skilled SaaS Buyer with experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sourcing and negotiating contracts for IT products and services.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and negotiating contracts for IT products and services, including SaaS, software licenses, cloud services, and consulting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required in Procurement.
- Familiarity with major software vendors an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in assessing, negotiating, and managing vendors.
- Passion for learning about software and SaaS trends.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Proven experience in SaaS negotiations.
- Strong customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in leveraging SaaS platforms to meet customer needs.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with vendors.
