Civil Foundation Design Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our engineering team as a Civil Foundation Design Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize wind turbine generator foundations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations for various foundation types, including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant civil design codes, including BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and others.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies and identify risks to implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities sector with a focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
