Job Description

As a Mechanical Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing site execution and installation management.

  • Planning and executing daily site activities based on project timelines and plans.
  • Managing crane mobilization and heavy material movement to ensure seamless operations.
  • Supervising wind turbine generator (WTG) installation activities to guarantee alignment with specifications and drawings.
  • Allocating work to contractors and engineers while monitoring labor, tools, and equipment usage.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to verify safety compliance and material readiness.
  • Ensuring proper execution of internal line works and survey-based layouts to meet project standards.
  • Coordinating contractor attendance and conducting skill card verification and toolbox talks to maintain high-quality workmanship.
  • Supporting customer inspections and ensuring timely milestone completion through effective coordination.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also oversee:

  • Approving crane movement routes and ensuring lift planning is in place to prevent accidents.
  • Validating the fitness of lifting tools, jigs, and fixtures to guarantee safe operations.
  • Establishing and operating site repair facilities to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have relevant experience in wind project execution and be willing to work across Pan India. You should also possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
