Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Service Sales Specialist – Loads to simulate the site-specific benefit of our upgrade portfolio while verifying the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

About the Role:

  • Reassess existing/planned wind farms using an internal tool chain to confirm compatibility of certain upgrades and turbine specific structural integrity.
  • Assess site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and run bucket approaches to determine lifetime extension possibilities, approval processes, and create detailed reports.
  • Support upgrades sales by generating benefit calculations, driving validation campaigns, and initiating implementation of upgrades.
  • Collaborate with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to persuade customers and their stakeholders, enabling successful product sales.
  • Have a measurable impact on the business performance of the global Service business unit.
  • Build a large network within the company and industry to stay updated on new technological developments.
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with strong technical background.
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organizations in the wind energy industry.
  • Highly analytical with holistic approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic with ability to bring topics to success in complex environments.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
