Energy Market Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Market Specialist to join our team. As an Energy Market Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting research and consulting engagements in biofuels, data center flexibility, grid technologies, and energy policy assessment.

Your expertise will provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to energy clients, enabling them to make informed decisions about their business strategies. This is a high-impact role that allows you to shape the company's energy business from the outset.

Responsibilities:
  • Support primary and secondary research efforts for ongoing projects by developing research models, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Synthesize research findings for client-ready deliverables and present project analysis to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development activities by assisting in proposal development, discovery documents, blogs, and white papers.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, helping cement the company's position as a trusted advisor in the energy market.
  • Support internal ideation, brainstorming, and research efforts for concepts and market validation.
Qualifications:
  • A science-related degree with 3-5 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in power, oil and gas, or new energies (hydrogen/CCUS).
  • Proven experience as an analyst or consultant in management consulting, market research, or an advisory firm.
  • Strong storytelling and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
