System Engineer Collaboration Platform Specialist

This is a long-term contract position with one of the largest, global technology leaders.

As a System Engineer for Collaboration Platforms, you will be responsible for automating business processes, participating in technical design, and managing ongoing feature changes in collaboration applications. Solid technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and optimizing collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.
  • Recording and managing changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes.
  • Ensuring system security, implementing standards, and responding to failures or performance issues.
  • Producing performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management.
  • Writing technical documentation and collaborating on ongoing issues and projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology support.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft suite administration and collaboration security frameworks.
  • Experience using Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Power Platform to build and deploy services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
