Key Responsibilities
  • Develop platforms for financial data, utilizing technologies like Apache Spark and Hive
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
  • Harness advanced SQL skills to drive business insights
  • Plan and implement multi-year strategies for Finhub engineering with technical leadership
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems
  • Past experience in mentoring junior engineers
  • Passion for building an open financial system
  • Experience working with finance and accounting teams
  • Knowledge of NetSuite APIs and financial tools
Nice to Haves
  • Proficiency in Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advanced SQL
  • Background in fintech domain
