Program Management Opportunity

This role offers a chance to lead software engineering projects and programs, overseeing delivery and collaborating with various teams.

You will be responsible for managing program statuses, financial forecasts, risk tracking, team member communications, and ensuring process compliance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Program Strategy and Planning
  • Create and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software programs in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
  • Lead program-level planning and prioritization, working closely with stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Execution
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members, facilitating milestone planning and progress tracking.
  • Evaluate cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Delivery Management
  • Monitor and report on project and program progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement delivery excellence by adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and internal processes, resolving blockers, managing interdependencies, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Team Member Communication
  • Promote open communication between engineering, product, and team members, providing detailed updates on status, risks, and program decisions.
  • Align all team members around key outcomes and delivery expectations.
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Identify and manage project and program issues, maintaining risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies.

The Essentials - Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field is mandatory.

The Preferred - Desired Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management in software engineering or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.
