About this role:

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating VMware products.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system automation, scripting, and development. You should also have expertise in Linux system administration or development, software engineering and testing, and Enterprise Cloud environments.

  • Design, implement, administer, and operate VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, etc.
  • Develop and maintain system automation scripts using Python or PowerShell.
  • Work on software engineering and testing projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate Enterprise Cloud environments.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with designing, implementing, administering, and operating VMware products.
  • 3+ years of experience with Ansible, VMware API integration development, Cloud networking, IBM Cloud API integration development, Windows Active Directory administration or development, Windows SQL server administration or development, Jenkins build and platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue and code management, networking, network security components, firewalls, gateways, secure engineering principles and best practices, security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.
  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Telegraf, VeeamOne.
  • Strong understanding of deployment practices from Development to Test to Staging to Production.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
