Transformative Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

Talented engineers are sought for a transformative role in digital infrastructure. Your mission will be to ensure the seamless operation of our digital backbone, serving millions of customers.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reducing incidents, automating processes, and driving innovation at scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify potential system issues early, implement preventive measures, and boost system resilience.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual effort and enable rapid, secure deployments.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), drive corrective and preventive actions, and prioritize improvements in the SRE backlog.
  • Apply programming expertise to strengthen infrastructure and services.
  • Mentor & grow: Share knowledge with peers, champion best practices, and push for innovation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years in operations, DevOps, or software engineering, with expertise in troubleshooting, automation, and customer support.

Skills and Qualifications:

The required skills include:

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash, or similar programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong incident response and problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Additional Desirable Skills:

Desired skills include:

  • Azure Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Microsoft Cloud Certified – Professional DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, or other monitoring/APM tools.
  • A passion for creating a culture of automation, resilience, and learning.
