Chief Architect

The Digital IT Transformation Head plays a pivotal role in driving the execution of both custom-built and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) IT solutions, establishing a robust data lake infrastructure, and embedding AI-enabled applications across all IT functional departments.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Anchors the delivery of a 3-year digital transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategic priorities
• Leads enterprise data initiatives, including the development and scaling of data lake infrastructure
• Manages budget allocation and strategic planning for the Digital IT Team, including oversight of investment decisions
• Drives cross-functional collaboration across India, Germany, and Portugal IT teams to anchor digitalization and tooling strategies from pilot phases to full-scale development and support
• Establishes and leads the implementation of success metrics for Digitalization projects, reporting insights to senior leadership
• Leads technology initiatives by overseeing the delivery of COTS and custom IT solutions, and championing design thinking and agile methodologies with a product development mindset
• Drives the strategic adoption of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms (e.g., Workday) and custom-built tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Drives the embedding of AI-enabled applications across business functions to enhance decision-making and automation
• Leads the development and maintenance of a robust data lake infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics
• Anchors software engineering practices and enables delivery of Product MVPs in collaboration with Digital Delivery departments
• Establishes metrics to evaluate the success of innovation projects and report findings to senior leadership
• Ensures compliance with InfoSec, legal, and regulatory standards across all digital initiatives
• Leads the development of future-ready IT teams with a focus on emerging digital technologies, including AI and Cloud
• Leads rapid prototyping efforts and anchors application delivery and integration initiatives
