Core Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation
    • Architect our cloud platform using GCP, designing and implementing a proper CI/CD pipeline
    • Build infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns for long-term use
  • Security and Compliance Architecture
    • Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by integrating security into every layer of our infrastructure
    • Implement customer-managed encryption and zero-trust networking principles
    • Create automated security scanning and remediation systems
  • Developer Platform Creation
    • Design a self-service platform allowing developers to provision infrastructure quickly
    • Create golden paths for secure and scalable infrastructure choices
    • Develop observability systems for developers in production
  • Scalability and Optimization
    • Architect systems to handle 100x growth without major rewrites
    • Integrate cost optimization into our infrastructure DNA
    • Create disaster recovery and backup systems
