About the Role

Are you an expert in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, seeking a new challenge to drive innovation and efficiency? As an AWS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud solutions for our clients.

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, requiring 8-10 years of experience with AWS cloud services, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Python, Docker, and PCI DSS compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
  • DevOps Automation: Develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby. Automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities.
  • Containerization: Containerize applications using Docker and manage container lifecycle.
  • Migration and Compliance: Support application migration to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability. Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards in the payments domain.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Chef and Ruby: Strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management.
  • AWS Cloud Services: Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Terraform: Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Jenkins and CI/CD: Solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Python Scripting: Scripting experience with Python.
  • Ansible Automation: Experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration.
  • Docker Containerization: Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
  • PCI DSS Compliance: Familiarity with Payments systems and PCI DSS compliance requirements.
  • Application Migration: Proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.
