Job Title: Technology Category Lead

The role of a Technology Category Lead is to oversee the management of technology categories, driving strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. This position requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role
  • Lead technology category management initiatives, including developing and executing procurement strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define requirements for technology categories
  • Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to inform procurement decisions
Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive end-to-end projects in line with procurement and category management activities
  2. Develop and execute procurement strategies for technology categories
  3. Manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  4. Analyze internal and external risk factors, schedule, budget, cost drivers, and should-cost analysis
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the Software and IT Services industry, including Hardware, Software as a Service (SaaS), IT managed services, Industrial Operational Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning
  • Excellent strategic negotiation skills and contractual/ legal knowledge
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders efficiently
