Job Title: Avataar IT Operations Lead

Avataar is seeking an experienced IT Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's IT infrastructure, networks, and data from various cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy functional networks, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
  • Implement and manage network security measures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and updates.
  • Analyze network performance metrics and optimize network configurations.
  • Implement network traffic management and quality of service techniques.
  • Lead IT team projects from inception to completion.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies and tools.
  • Ensure the organization's IT systems comply with relevant security standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of work experience in total, with a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Proven expertise in IT asset management, data management, networks, and network administration.
  • Experience with cloud security and securing virtualized environments.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
