Job Title: Mission Critical Solutions Expert

The Technical Marketing Engineer for wired telecommunication networks has the global responsibility to enable the Pre-Sales & Sales community of regional HUBs to understand technical market requirements and ensure customer interaction in line with solution product strategy.

  • Support sales organizations by providing technical expertise.
  • Provide relevant customer & market inputs to product management and R&D activities, ensuring market alignment and relevance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop HVDC Base Control & Protection Software (MACH).
  • Create control and protection functions & solutions for future HVDC technologies.
  • Perform power system protection & control studies using EMT tool based on project requirements to optimize fault detection algorithms and setting philosophies.
  • Resolve issues related to control and protection functions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across business units to optimize HVDC solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in control and protection systems.
  • Knowledge & skills in PSCAD, MATLAB, or simulation software.
  • Basic knowledge on IEEE & IEC standards.
  • Experience with MS Office in Word, Excel.
  • Technical tender support or bidding experience, substation environment, and protection application.
  • Self-starter caliber who can own tasks through to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
