About the Role

Turing is seeking highly skilled PhD-level researchers in Biology to test and refine large language models. Your key responsibilities will include creating novel Biology problems, analyzing model responses, and identifying areas for improvement.

The primary goal of this role is to measure the reasoning capabilities of AI systems in handling abstract thinking and structured problem-solving. You'll contribute to the development of more sophisticated AI models by evaluating their logic and providing constructive feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • Create challenging Biology problems that push the limits of AI's reasoning abilities
  • Analyze and evaluate AI responses to identify gaps in logic or understanding
  • Develop and share insights on how well AI models comprehend complex reasoning and logical steps

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with an ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly in remote settings
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Stable computer and internet access
