Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to enhance our local applications through development of change requests, investigation and implementation of fixes on issues raised.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in C/C++ and operating system internals, as well as experience with multi-platform, multi-dimensional systems and business/technical applications.

  • Expert level assistance will be provided using the OutSystems platform to create new applications and their support.
  • Strong customer relationships will be leveraged and expert business knowledge will be exhibited.
  • Mentoring others and providing troubleshooting support will be key responsibilities.
  • Identifying, evaluating and fixing application performance bottlenecks will also be essential.

A problem solver, customer oriented individual with great soft skills is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading requirements gathering meetings and reviewing designs with the business will be crucial.
  • Leveraging efforts with Web and marketing team to increase web product presence will be important.
  • Implementing improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems will be necessary.
  • Developing and defining application scope and objectives, and supervising preparation of technical and/or functional specifications will be vital.
  • Performing technical design reviews and code reviews will be required.

In addition, experience mentoring others and providing troubleshooting support is strongly preferred. Multi database and/or multi language experience is also highly valued.
