Database Architect Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architecture and design of our databases to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement database architectures that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable database solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience as a database administrator with an emphasis on application DBA responsibilities.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and optimizer hints.
  • Experience supporting web applications, API-driven architectures, or middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Fusion Cloud database integration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Oracle GoldenGate or other replication tools.
  • Experience with API Gateway products (Apigee, Kong, Oracle API Gateway, etc.).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps pipelines for DB changes.
