Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manufacturing Engineer to spearhead our manufacturing endeavors.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for reviewing and validating engineering drawings, applying knowledge of medical device regulations, and participating in ideation activities to assess project scoping and viability.
  • You will have expertise across design, manufacturing, production processes, and regulatory compliance, and be skilled in coordinating with suppliers to resolve technical queries. Your experience in product sustenance engineering activities will enable you to conduct, review, and update models for tol-stackup studies and dimensional variation analysis using Creo-CETol or other tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and validate engineering drawings for manufacturability, accuracy, and completeness according to the latest engineering standards.
  2. Apply knowledge of medical device regulations and execute gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation activities.
  3. Participate in ideation activities to assess project scoping and viability through economic analysis, conflict analysis, and supplier quote validation.
  4. Conduct criticality analysis to ensure process reliability and quality.
  5. Develop and refine detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models to support project requirements.
