About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technologist to lead our Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, and experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.

Prioritizing seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems, the ideal candidate will ensure high availability and performance of industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases.

This role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives, troubleshoot optimize, and support existing SCADAMES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Troubleshoot optimize, and support existing SCADAMES deployments

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, SPC
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent
  • Handson's experience with OTIT integration technologies
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95, ISA88, ISA99IEC 62443

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT AWS IoT
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Familiarity with containerization, Docker Kubernetes for SCADAMES deployments
  • Certifications Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial ITOT certifications
