The role of an Executive Kitchen Assistant is a key position in the kitchen that requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:- Directly assist with various kitchen tasks such as cleaning, food preparation and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Oversee the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen by ensuring all equipment and tools are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss work schedules, assignments and any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Contribute to team building initiatives and support colleagues in their roles.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies and equipment.
- Implement effective solutions to improve productivity and efficiency within the kitchen.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, guests and vendors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate team members.
