Job Title:


Legal Head in Real Estate Industry

Job Description:

  • Maintain relationships with land scouts/brokers for efficient land acquisition.
  • Conduct thorough surveys to determine plot locations and boundaries.
  • Handle all conveyance-related matters, including municipal assessments.
  • Gather necessary documents from tenants, such as voter ID cards and ration cards.
  • Create documents for tenant purchases, society redevelopments, plots, and flats.
  • Verify property titles at various authorities, including talati, thelsidar, stamp duty, city civil court, and High Court. Check 7/12, mutation entry, PR card, DP remarks, etc.
  • Execute deals independently for new acquisitions, preparing weekly reports on progress.
  • Search for documents regarding acquisition at courts, government offices, solicitor offices, and make title flows of properties/lands.
  • Coordinate between solicitors, advocates, and legal consultants for smooth operations.
  • Oversee land survey with demarcation and conduct due diligence on lands.
  • Structure deals efficiently, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing documentation related to tenanted and governmental schemes.
  • Coordinate with MHADA, BMC, MMRDA, DRT, O/L, and other development authorities across Maharashtra and India for land acquisition.
  • Vetting and executing documents, including Agreement for Sale, Leave & License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Development Agreements, Deed of Conveyance, Tenancy Agreement, Deed of Gift, Will and Codicil, Mortgage - Hypothecation - Pledge, Power Of Attorney, Affidavit, and other documents pertaining to land acquisition.
  • Interact with Legal, Liaison, Security, Architects, Consultants, Govt Authorities, Clients, Vendors, Land representatives, and Management.
