Lead Data Privacy Specialist

A key position exists to oversee the implementation of a Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) compliance framework across all business units. The ideal candidate will have experience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects, preferably in the financial services sector.
The successful individual will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the compliance program in alignment with Bermuda equivalent data protection regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting a thorough assessment of current data privacy policies, systems, and processes to identify gaps against PIPA requirements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define and implement suitable controls for data collection, storage, access, and sharing.
- Overseeing the development of data mapping and inventory to identify all personal data processed by the organization.
The candidate will possess strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills, as well as the ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable business processes.
Requirements:
