Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance and Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing data privacy and protection programs for global clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The role involves assessing, designing, and implementing privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with GDPR, PDPL, DIFC, CCPA, and other applicable laws. This position requires strong expertise in data privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data privacy and protection programs for global clients.">
  • Assess, design, and implement privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures.">
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).">
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed privacy requirements into business operations.">
  • Handle incident response and breach management in line with global privacy requirements.">
  • Develop and deliver training, awareness sessions, and workshops.">
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership and client stakeholders.">
  • Stay updated on evolving Middle East, Indian, and global data protection regulations.">

Senior Data Governance and Compliance Officer Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale privacy transformation programs across multiple clients and geographies.">
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders on privacy strategies and risk mitigation.">
  • Provide technical mentorship and manage a team of consultants and analysts.">
  • Drive innovation in privacy operations, automation, and GRC integration to enhance compliance efficiency.">

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in data privacy and protection.">
  • Strong expertise in data privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.">
  • In-depth understanding of regulations such as GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, PDPL, CCPA, and Indian DPDP Act.">
  • Exposure to privacy technologies and GRC platforms is desirable.">
  • Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.">
  • Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. preferred; MBA / legal background is a plus.">
